Hello, I have many questions as a FTM. How do you incorporate BM into solids? If I'm making my own rice cereal, do I boil the rice with BM, or only add it at the end to desired consistency? TIA!
With the cereal, instead of using water, I warmed BM and stirred that in. I would only add the BM after you have boiled the rice until you get the consistency you like.
With other solids, I just pureed the veggies or fruit and stirred BM in before serving.
I started with oatmeal, but it's basically the same. I just boiled mine in water and then added a fruit or veggie. If it needed to be thinned more, I would add some BM. The only things that I've really needed to add BM to are sweet potatoes and peas. I use my frozen milk for that.
