Pain w/Urination

I went to the doctor today after experiencing pain in the lower abdomen and lower back after urinating to rule out infection and make sure everything is okay. The urine test they conduct came back normal and now they are sending it to have more tests run which I'm waiting for results from now. She measured me and made sure I was not going into PTL and everything checked out well. I was just wondering if anyone else experienced this and did not have an infection? My LO has definitely been beating me up lately, and I'm wondering if I wasn't just sore. Thanks, ladies!

 

ETA: Also, it's not a burning pain, and the lower back pain is definitely where my kidneys are and they still hurt. It would definitely help if she stopped playing so much pinball in there, even though I love feeling her move.

    Does it just last a minute or so?  I get a dull ache if my bladder was really full after going.  I assume it is just the baby kinda dropping back down.  I had the same feeling with dd though, and never had a problem with the monthly pee samples at the office, so I figure it is normal.

    Do you have a history of kidney stones? I got to experience kidney stones three weeks ago, and while I think you would definitely KNOW something was wrong (I had to go to the hospital), after the worst of the pain was gone, I still had soreness in my back right near my kidneys and a burning/uncomfortable sensation when peeing (and the need to pee every 5 minutes). I also did not have an infection - the doc said the stone was most likely still in my ureter/bladder. I really hope this is not what you're going through. Maybe you're just sore, like you said?
