Christmas card pics

I am starting to think of Christmas card pic of my DD.

 Professional photographer pic? studio pic?

as far printing them - shutterfly? any other recs? I will need at least 50 of them to send out friends and fam.

 Is black and white pics a no no for christmas?

what are you doing for little ones christmas card pics?

    I have a groupon for JcPenney so we are just going to do that as a family pic.  I don't see why b/w would be a no-no?  I personally love b/w and you can do some red accents.  That would be really elegant!  I think I might use tinyprints.com for the photo mailers or just buy cards that have the photo slot.

    We are doing a whole family picture and one of LO so it will be a two picture card.
                                                 Mom to 4 wonderful daughters
                                 Breanna, Ellie and 
                                 our 2 rainbow babies.

    We're doing ours for a fundraiser for a local animal shelther. The photog specializes in pet photography, so we're going to do a pic of Nora with the pups. We'll also include a pic of her by herself, so it will be a 2 photo card, like Holly's.

    However, we did our birth announcements on Shutterfly, and they turned out great, IMO.

    My aunt is taking some pics of DD and family pics I want to possibly use for a Christmas card. Are you dressing up in dress clothes or casual clothes? I can't decide which I want to do! Dress clothes would involve a shopping trip so I need to decided ASAP. :)

    black and white is always appropriate!  Try a DIY photoshoot and see how you like it.  I have suprised myself lately Geeked  I also like JC Penney a lot and a local photog here.
