November 2011 Moms

Lurking from July 2011

Just wanted to wish you ladies safe and healthy deliveries!  Enjoy these last few weeks of "rest".  For first timers- You will LOVE what is coming, you won't remember life with out your LO- even if you don't think you're all that maternal.  My one bit of advice-  run all your errands now.  You may have never felt bigger or more clumsy, but you are even less mobile when you have your LO with you!  Congrats to those of you that already have your LO with you :).

  • Thanks for all the cliche advice.  We are 9 months pregnant and you think we haven't figured out to run our errands now?

  • I think she was just trying to be nice. No need to jump all over her!

Geez, that was really ugly. Was it necessary? I thought this was very sweet OP and appreciate it very much. BTW I am third time mom who has kind of done this before and I still think it was very nice to take the time to write that!

  • Thank you! I have been enjoying my long lingering trips to Target while I still can.
  • Thanks! I appreciate the thought that I won't remember life without LO - as much as I have always wanted to be a mom, this has been one of my biggest concerns (and still is).

  • Haha - Thank you!  Love the comment on running errands - I'm doing that like there's no tomorrow. :) DH keeps saying things to me like, and why can't we do this tomorrow???

Completely unnecessary!  She was trying to be nice and give us future mama's some advice.

Anyway. .thank you for the post! :) I can't wait for LO to get here!  This weekend I am making my last trip to target to get some essentials for the hospital.

hahaha...i feel you except my LO is only 15 months but running errands is so difficult with him.  I can't imagine what it will be like with 2!

This is it exactly, lol. I've dragged DH back to walmart quite a few times when I suddenly realized I forgot something (I forgot to get the diaper pail this last time, whoops!) DH keeps wondering how many times we are going to do this and if it can wait till closer to the date, lol

  • How appropriate that you put quotes around the word "rest". That's how I would describe what happens every night when I spend several hours in bed changing positions/getting up to pee/chugging water/chowing on tums. I wake up every morning feeling just as exhausted as I did when I went to bed!

We're the opposite. My husband wants to get more stuff done, I just want to sleep.
