Hi I have a Medela Pump in style and was wondering if There are any other bottle brands that would work with my pump? and how about other brands of storage bags. Do I have to use Medela?? Thank you so Much for your help!!!
You can use just about any brand of normal neck sized bottles. I have the PISA and I pump into bottles and then transfer extra into the Lanisoh bags to freeze. You can also buy a conversion kit to pump into the Playtex drop in bottles. It doesn't work with wide neck bottles.

I think a lot of bottle brands sell adapters so you can use the bottles you prefer and pump directly into them. I bought an $11 adapter and use my PISA with the playtex drop-ins -- it saves so much space and I don't have to run the dishwasher constantly to clean bottles.
any normal sized bottle should work. I use ameda and medela mostly, but playtex bottles work with medela lids and nipples, so they would probably work with the pump.

If you just want more bottles and the Medela ones are expensive, then I suggest the Gerber or Parent's Choice bottles from Walmart/Target. They are the exact same size, but about 1/4 of the price and they come with nipples and rings if you choose to use them to feed from.
You can use any bag if you pump into something and then pour into the bag...I use Lansinoh bags, but they don't wrap to the pump like the Medela bags do. You can use any bottle that is a regular size neck...I used the Dr Browns when we first started and those fit perfect...now I just use the Medela bottles.

This is what I was going to say. I bought the cheap gerber ones - like $3 for a 3 pack. They fit the medela pump perfectly. Any normal neck size bottle will, these were just very cheap, and they fit into the little cooler pouch that came with my pump perfectly because they are the same height as the medela bottles.
