Halloween for kiddos

Any things out there to take a one-year old to do for Halloween? Not planning on taking her trick-or-treating but would love to do something fun so she can wear her costume a few times!

I read in the Sunday ads that Toys R Us is having Halloween parades every half hour on Saturdays with fun activities for kids. Not sure about all of them, but our local Cub is having a kids event on Saturday as well. There seem to be signs up at different places so I would just drive around and read the signs closely. I believe malls do have trick-or-treating events around Halloween as well.

What we did for DD's first Halloween was not so much taking her trick or treating, but taking her out and about to visit family/friends... It was super cute...

I would say that that's the way to go - we've just sort of continued the tradition since then...

We're going to the Grand Ave Halloween celebration. They have a petting zoo, trick or treating, a dance, and a bunch of other activities the Sunday before Halloween.
