Ruff Friday

So I am really good at holding in my emotions and not showing that i am mad that everyone is pregnant. But on Friday we had kind of a family get together at my in laws and my two brother in laws (one older and one younger than us) both have kids and the younger one has one on the way. The older couple of in laws and my mother in law and father in law no our issues but the younger couple doesnt quite get it and are really insensitive. So us girls were all talking and they were talking about when they got married how their Husbands whispered in their ears, "youre gonna have my babies" (as did mine) and the younger brother in laws wife said i didnt even want kids... and here i am on my second and they were all saying yeah thats how it happens the ones who dont want it get it. I kept my cool and excused myself to the bathroom cause of course AF was in for a visit. I went up stairs into the bathroom and lost it. I think i could have brushed it off if i didnt know they all knew. yeah know? I mean come on. Especially because it was recent that we let them all in on our secret!

Just hanging in there. Hoping that next month gets here quick and that i get a BFP! just thought i would vent a little.

That's so unfair of them. I'm really sorry that you had to be put through all of that. We have chosen to keep our struggles with IF secret from DH's sisters because I feel like this would be the response. We have been very open with my brother and his wife about it. I don't have much advice for you, but I can imagine how difficult it is for you. I really hope you get your BFP sooner than later! Good luck!

Vent away. That was truly rotten. It's a sad reality, but I think while you're going through IF, you learn who you can and who you cannot expect support from. If you know people will not be encouraging, you need to limit your exposure to them if it's possible. We've actually chosen to stay far away from certain family members during this time because they're just too difficult to deal with. I'm sorry for all of your struggles

I hope you can surround yourself with things and people that only lead to a happy, healthier you.

I feel like people who know about my issues are more likely to be the ones to "open mouth, insert foot" than someone who DOESN'T know. And that makes it even harder to deal with it. ((hugs)) I'm sorry your in laws didn't think before they spoke.

thanks ladies. and yeah i agree i am really noticing that the people who know are worse than the ones who do. I am just trying to deal with it.

I guess we will find out next month! Thanks ladies... I really wished i had joined on with you guys sooner! I never realized how much i could really use you guys!
