Hi, I'm almost 7 weeks post C-section and have a grooming question. I have been shaving everywhere except my incision, so there's a frightful little moustache there. If you go bare down there, how long did you wait before shaving or getting a wax? I'm a little nervous about touching the incision still ...

    I'm glad you asked this because I've been wondering the same thing.  I'm really nervous about shaving over it because I can't even shave over 20 year old tiny scars on my legs without reopening them.  I fear I am doomed to a hairy life.

    I shaved mine 6 weeks after my steri strips fell out!

    i waited 6-7 weeks with my first and i am waiting at least that long again.  my OB actually told me to wait this time--my scar is bigger and thicker :( but she said the skin will be more sensitive and could get cut easier.  also if the area is still numb like mine--you won't really feel it if you do cut yourself...i am thinking this could be a bad thing.

    I waited too long! 10 weeks after my c/s. I was too nervous to shave/wax over the incision.
    After many years and tears our baby boy is finally here

    I got a Brazilian at about 5 weeks post c section without any problems.

    Maybe if you are nervous, you could start with just using trimmers that don't completely touch the skin? I haven't had my c-section yet, so I really have no advice, but that is what I do right now since I can't see my lady parts at this point just to be safer, but to avoid being sascrotch ;).

    Good question!

    I had a brazilian  wax maybe a week before my unplanned c/s took place, it's starting to grow back now at 10 days PP and I'm already wondering when it's safe to start waxing again. Probably better to wait until you're sure it's ok.
