EPers- Any insight?

Does anybody else have any insight on a booby just going on strike? I have EPed for 4 months. I knew there was a 4 month drop, but one side just completly go from 4 oz to 3 to barely 1oz every 3 hours? I have been pumping every 3 hours and can't drop from there because then I can't keep up with DD. I was getting up to 6 oz every 3 hours and now it varies from 2-5oz. Truth be known, if I quit pumping I don't think I'd miss it. My breasts never feel hard anymore and almost never leak, even when going the occasional 7 hour stretch for sleeping. No, DD doesn't sleep that much, it is just sometimes at 3 a.m. I can't bring myself to stay up to pump. Any ideas what is going on?

  • I've heard that the supply might dip when you are about to start your first PP period. Has that happened yet?

  • PP period has been a strange thing for me. I have had a suspected cycle at 5 weeks PP, which was back in August, and no sign of AF coming back and lots of negative pregnancy tests, which on those I feel like I wasted my money. You have to have sex to get knocked up Confused
  • I'm sure you've done this, but if not, replace your membranes, inspect your tubing, check your valves, etc. I know it doesn't make sense as to why it would just affect one boob, but it's possible. Also try switching your tubes ports (connect left to right, etc.) for a few days to see if that has anything to do with it. When mine drops off like that, it's usually some defect in the parts, and one may be more succeptable to less suction than the other.

Exactly this!  Start with the membranes!

Usually a supply drop like that has more to do with the pump than it does a Mommy problem!!  If it puts your mind at ease, hand express and if you can that means it's def. a pump problem!!!
