Well, going in tomorrow..

in Pregnant after a Loss

Going in tomorrow to get my cerclage. I am still really nervous. I am so scared to lose my baby because of getting this done. I am going in at noon and I can't eat,drink or chew on anything past midnight! Hopefully it goes well because I get a lot of nausea if I don't eat when I wake up :( I will be on bedrest for a week and more than likely starting my shots next week too. For those of you with cerclages, how often did you see the doctor to get checked?

    I don't have any experience with cerclage, but I just wanted to let you know that you will be in my T&Ps.  I hope everything goes smoothly and you have an easy recovery.

    Good luck with the cerclage! See if they can give you some IV Zofran pre-op! It will really help the nausea. After my cerclage last time I usually got checked once a week and alternated between my MFM and my OB. So far we haven't had to get the cerclage this pregnancy although my cervix is short (2.4 cm). We are still checking weekly...T&P to you!!
