First WW check in!

Hi Ladies! This is the first weight watcher's check in! If you would like...let us know how much you would like to lose.  If you're not comfortable with it, no hard no foul.

  • This week I only lost 1lb :( boooo!  I guess any loss is better than none! Total weight loss so far is 5lbs on WW's. 

    I would like to lose a total of 25lbs!  I can do this! Smile

  • Just wanted to tell you all that YOU CAN DO IT.  I've lost 30lbs (all my pregnancy weight + 5lbs) with WW.  I've fallen off the wagon, but am hopping back on this week.  I'd like to lose 20more.

  • What a great idea...Can I join?  I used to post all the time BB (before baby) but haven't had a lot of time since.  I joined WW 1 week ago and lost 1.2 lbs this week.  Congrats on ur loss!  Eating a billion points is hard the extra 14 are a true struggle for me!  Good luck to everyone!

  • I love this, but is it okay if I join but not using WW? Just a weight loss check-in I guess. A group of people to hold me accountable even if I am just using my own "plan" of healthier eating/walking. I was up to 190-something at delivery. I was actually very slow to gain during my pregnancy, and a lot of that was water weight that I gained the last few weeks. Today I am actually down to my PP weight of 145. So, I guess that I have lost about 50 lbs without much effort. That is so rare for me because I have always had to work hard to maintain a healthy weight. But even though I was 145 at conception, I am more comfortable between 130 and 135. I would love to hit 135 by Christmas. I really don't have the time or money for WW right now, but I love the idea of July mama suppor. Good luck ladies. We all can reach our goals. They always say, nine months to put it on and nine months to take it off.

  • Just joined WW! I'm hoping for success! I gained 50 total and still have 20 to lose. What are you ladies doing for exercise? I had started the Firm DVDs 6 weeks PP for only two weeks before getting too busy and not sticking with it. I really really need to start it up again but it's so hard to be motivated to work out at home!

  • I joined WW Online about a month ago.  The first week or 2 I was really disciplined and worked out but since then I've slacked off.  I've lost only 2lbs but I totally attribute that to my lack of follow through and motivation.  I gained about 45lbs during pregnancy and was above my regular weight by about 10lbs.  So in all when I gave birth I was about 55-60lbs over my regular weight.  I've lost about 35lbs thus far and would love to lose 25lbs by the end of the year but I'd be satisfied with 20.  

    Glad you all started this check in.  I need some help with motivation and accountability.  Good luck ladies!  We can do this!!

     My plan is to work out the last 30 mins of work on our treadmil.  Walk/run.  I am wayyy out of shape now. I would like to get some sort of work out tape at home!  Good luck!

  • I am doing the myfitnesspal website. This helped me take that weight off after DD#1 not I am back on it to get rid of this weight for DD#2. I don't have much to lose but it seems like the last 5-10 pounds for me are harder to get off. So I have I would like to do this with the support of you ladies!     Same here. I've lost 21.6 on WW (Aug 16th start) and lost all of my 48lb pregnancy weight. 

    I'd like to lose 10-15 more pounds. 

    I had my first gain last week of .4 pounds but this week, I'm down 1.6lbs.

    Keep it up! It's slow and steady, but it works!

    Oh and I started  walking/jogging 4 weeks ago. 30 minutes a day 3-5 times a week.

  • LOVE this idea :) Even more accountability (I weigh in every Saturday with my mom LOL) to keep me sticking to my tracking! I've slacked on that and exercise since I started back to work at the end of September...LOL

    As of 8/13 I've lost 10.8 pounds. I had a gain of 0.2 this past weekend. I'm down to 3.2 lbs over what I weighed at my first OB appt. I hope to lose another 30. I'd love to weigh 125-130 again :) LOL

    The hardest part is that I work nights, so I have to divy my points up oddly...LOL So I have 2 goals this week--Tack daily and exercise!!!!!

    Congrats on the losses ladies! We can do this!

  • I'm down 1.6 this week.  So far, I've lost 35 of the 50 that I gained, but I want to lose a total of 60 lbs since I started a little bit heavier than I wanted to.  I've been going to a stroller fitness class that is awesome, but I'm going back to work this week and it meets during the day, so I'll have to come up with a new plan for exercise.

    WW has been slower going than I wanted it to be.  I'm eating all my 43 points most days because I'm paranoid about my supply dropping.  those who are losing more than 1-1.5 lbs a week and BFing, are you eating all the points??

  • I've been doing WW online for about 2 months, but I fell off a few weeks ago. I've still been "watching it," but it's nowhere near as good as the first few weeks, when I was tracking. I'm back on this week though!

    I'm 10 lbs from my pp weight. (I gained 45 while pregnant.)

    I was doing really well working out while on ML, but I just started back to work, and I can tell it's going to be difficult to find time to work out. My plan of going for a 30-40 minute run after DD's 5 a.m. feeding went out the window when she started waking up at 3:30 a.m. instead. :P My only other option is wait until she falls asleep for the night. I HATE working out at night though....I'm an early bird.

  • This is such a good idea!  I started ww about 6 weeks ago.  I've been really bad though.  I've only lost 3 lbs and that was the first week :(  My goal for xmas is 8 lbs and my total goal is between 13 - 18 lbs. 

    My problem is I am always hungry and I love to snack and fruits and veggies don't fill me up.

    i get 29 points per day and i usually only eat about 25. The weekend is my down fall. grrrr. i am also goong to start working out tomorrow :) hoooray.
  • Just starting week 11 of WW and have lost 22 lbs so far, it's amazing! I gained a total of 50, lost 20 right off the bat, then stalled for 3 weeks. I knew I had to do something right away to lose the additional 30 lbs. WW really has kept my eating in check. I have been back to work for 6 weeks now and can't fit in exercise, maybe 2 times a week now and it makes me sad. But I am happy with the weight loss so far with just dieting - there will be more time for exercise as baby grows older.

  • I lost almost 50 lbs on WW last year and I went back on it September 12th and I've lost 11.2 lbs in 6 weeks. 
     
    I like to set smaller goals for myself so I don't get overwhelmed by the overall goal Smile.  My first goal is to lose 15 lbs, but I need/want to lose about 40 lbs total to get to pre-pregnancy weight (so about 30 more pounds).  

    My pre-pregnancy weight is actually the least I've ever weighed as an adult, so once I reach that weight I'll be setting a new goal and will be trying to reach a weight I've never been at before! Smile

    This! My H pulled out the p90x today ....... and I didn't open it lol

    I feel good at 115lbs (I'm 5'1) when I got pregnant I was 135..lost 5 lbs before i knew I was pregnant. two days before LO was born I weighed in at 153. Five days after she was born I weighed in at 138.

    At the end of nursing I weighed 127. few weeks later gained 5lbs...so now I'm back to 132....I haven't worked out at all, except for a few walks here in there..and sad to say I have not been eating the greatest either :(

    I think I'm going to begin by atleast doing 50 crunches a day...drinking more water, and eating healthier. Also, I'm planning on starting Advocare (never tried before but my sister has had great results!!) I don't just want to loose weight...I want to be TONED!! especially my belly! :(

    The check in will be on mondays and anyone wanting to lose weight can join in! :)

  • I am not doing WW, but following a similar exercise and diet plan.  Love to check in to be held accountable and read others success stories, very motivating..  I gained 55 lbs with this pregnancy, and have lost 37 lbs so far.. I have 18 lbs to go to get back to my pre preg weight.  I have been doing really well with my exercise, and cooking healthy.  I try to only eat out 1x a week if that..
