Boots for toddler

We are on boots #2 and Samantha hates it! I would love to put her on boots this fall but it seems like it's not gonna happen. Any suggestion on boots for 18 month old? It seems like her whole foot is not even going in and it's probably why she's so uncomfortable.

    I'm not sure what style you are going for but my sister gave C some ankle high Ugg knock offs last year (from Old Navy, I think). They are flexible and wide enough at the top that she could easily get her foot in. The drawback, of course, is that they can also easily get their feet out Wink Cadence LOVED them, though and would not wear any other shoes last Winter.

    Ours have a zipper.  Pretty sure I got them at the Stride Rite outlet.

    I can't even tell you how many shoes I have bought for the girls that they won't wear because they are uncomfortable.  I have stopped buying online and will only buy shoes for them somewhere that they can try them on and run around. We have the best luck with Striderite and Coggins (Even though this is not near our house). I agree with the boots needing a zipper too.

    have you tried going up a half size and adding thicker socks?  This is what I do for myself.

    Also target has a ton of cute boots now with zippers too.  You could bring her in and have her run around in them to see if they are comfortable.

    The boots Evie was wearing last night were Target.  She loves them.  They have a zipper on them so I know her foot is going in flat and not with her toes curled.  But at 18 months, she may have curled her toes.  I had a hard time putting certain shoes on her at that age.

    I buy Caroline the fake Ugg boots from Target every year.  They are wide and roomy and have a zipper.  Caroline actually loves wearing them.  I have bouight her a pair every year since she was Samantha's age.  They have the wooly lining in them too so sometimes C doesn't even wear socks with them.  Right now she has the chocolate brown pair and they are so cute!
