photographer for 1st birthday - recomendations

Ok, mamas I'm looking for an affordable good photographer to shoot my little mans 1st birthday. I'd really like someone who is around $100 or less for their time and then a full disk of the photos. I work in an industry with amazing photographers but they will all be guests at the party so I dont want to ask them to work, but I am used to awesome photos as they usually all shoot him for me for free so I need someone who may be starting out but is really good. I'd also like to "try" them out with a pumpkin patch shoot in the next few weeks. If you know of anyone that fits this description please let me know.

    Have you tried the art institute? I think they have a bulletin board that you can check out. Lots of student photogs on there.

    My friend is a professional photog and recently did my other friends daughter's first birthday/smash cake session but I think she charged more than $100 since it was about a 4 hour birthday party with endless shots and the smash cake session and edits.

    Something like that would run about $200-$250, especially if it's more than an hour and if the photos are edited, at least that's what I think it would cost.

    I would think for only $100 this might be hard. I agree with the PP and try to find a student or someone who is just starting out.

    We used Wink Photography when my DD was 3 months old...she's the first one in the infant gallery!!

    We paid $50 for the sitting fee and $100 for a CD of 10 images. She's in Webster/Friendswood. It'd be $35 sitting fee if you go to her.
