Went and checked out all the strollers on the top of my list...Bumbleride,UppaBaby,Micralite, Quinny and Mutsy...Finally decided on the Bumbleride Indie in Seagrass/Blue...My husband felt like it was the most durable and I thought it had good space underneath...Also found a diaper bag I love the Petunia Pickle Bottom (Dancing in Dublin)... If any second time mommies have any good/bad reviews on the Bumbleride Indie please let me know...
Re: Finally chose our stroller :-)
I *really* love Pinterest!
Thanks...it's the little things that make us happy these days :-)
Hmmm...no where thats weird....I saw the Flyer and liked it as well but I like the aspect of being able to run with the Indie...it was very sturdy...hope you will be able to test drive it!!!
I heart the bumbleride Indie! That is my dream stroller! We want one in Walnut. I like the idea that one uses bamboo fabric. I am not sure we will get one since I just found a baby jogger city elite on craigslist for $175. It is almost brand new.
I am super stoked for you!
Thanks! I actually wound up driving an hour today to take it for a spin. I'm really glad I made the effort to see it in person, I wound up loving the Uppababy Vista much more than the Flyer. If I was going for a jogger the Indie would definitely be my pick! Have fun with it!
We love our Indie. We got it in Ruby. It's held up really well. I've taken it on some jogs, but I'm not a big runner due to knee problems. We have taken it 'off-roading' at parks, some paths and even the beach. It handles really well. The sand was kind of difficult, but we had an easier time than my SIL.
We got the carrycot and used that a fair amount in the early months. It was actually how I got my showers many days. He would fall asleep in the carrycot and I could wheel the stroller near the bathroom door, so I could hear him while I showered.
We rarely used the attachment for the infant seat. I actually never keep a stroller on me. I usually wore him or put the whole infant seat in the basket of the shopping cart.
My DH likes that he can adjust the handlebar to his height so easily. Plus he loves the maneuverability.
My only complaint is that sometimes it is hard to adjust it to reclining. It takes some getting used to.
I love our Indie too. It's great for all sorts of terrain - city cubs, muddy dog park, etc. I'm glad I got it and plan to keep it even though we're looking for a double stroller.
Still, I don't think there's a perfect stroller. They all have cons: ithe Indie is still pretty big when folded. I had a Snap n' Go for when DD was an infant just because it was so much more car/store-friendly. Now I use the Uppa Baby G-lite for that. The Uppa Baby lives in the car and the Bumbleride stays in the garage.
