Could use some good thoughts.. and maybe some opinions

I'm taking Eve to the pedi on monday. I'm worried. Lately to me she seems extra pale.. and sometimes blueish (she has always gotten blue easily when she gets cold or is swimming and drs have always brushed it off, but now it happens even is shes warm. She also just always looks tired to me.. maybe its because she reallly doesnt get enough sleep.. but why doesnt she sleep more then? She always has dark circles under her eyes and often acts really tired in the evenings, even if she naps. So I could use some good thoughts.

Also.. for you ladies that have seen Eve recently.. do you notice a difference in her coloring/the dark circles under her eyes? My best friend came over yesterday and commented on how tired Eve looked which is what made me finally decide to call the pedi..I would say I started noticing it more in august/september..

I have no clue what it could be, but I just wanted to send some positive thoughts. I do see a difference in the pictures. Keep us posted. Hopefully the pedi will have some answers.

Could it possibly be an iron deficiency?

Try not to worry about it until Monday. I totally realize how hard it is to do that, you know, since I cried for 24 hours thinking E had to have skull surgery.

Do you think it is possible that she may have some allergies? I know growing up and even still I had dark circles under my eyes when my allergies acted up. My allergist even called them allergy shiners. I even get tired when my allergies flare. We are in hayfever season right now. Though thought wouldn't explain the blue lips. Hope all is well and you get some answers on Monday.

Like pp said, the lighting in the pics makes it kind of hard to compare. I definitely agree though that if you are concerned you should see the pedi. Always trust your gut because nobody knows your LO like you!

I will keep her in my thoughts and pray that it is nothing serious! Keep us posted.

I was thinking low iron too... how were her levels last time they tested her?

The lighting in those pics is so different, it's really hard to tell her true color.

Aw, I am sorry you have to take her to get her checked out! My first thought was iron as well! I hope that is all, or it's nothing! Will be thinking of her, and you too!

Positive thoughts and prayers coming your way! Maybe she is anemic?? We often worry about T for all the same reasons you listed above too. She gets tired so easily and will often tell us she's so sleepy even after waking up from a 3 hour nap. Keep us posted!
