    I pay my sitter $15/hour. She is an adult (versus a teen) and provides her own transportation. IMO, she is worth every penny!

    We also pay $15 for our sitter.  She is 21 and provides her own transportation from about 8 miles away, so she's not just right down the street.

    we pay our sitters $10/hr for two. most of the time, the kids are already in the bed when we go out.

    one is our niece and she's a teenager. the other is a 20yro DCP and we pick her up. she has certifications but our niece does not. Our niece and her mom live two blocks away though, so she always has her mom nearby.
