DH and I have to name a company (long story) and the name is only going to be used for recording & tax purposes. You would never see a business card or anything else with the name. We have a long list of names we know we'll never use because we'll never have enough children to use them. Would you use a person name you already love and feel strongly about in this case or just make up a random non-person related name?
It's hard to explain the structure of the co. name without going into the whole story, but it wouldn't be just the person name. It would end up being something like Bar Ferdinand (a real restaurant name, just for example).
Re: using your "names" for non-children
Love this idea.
Another thumbs up!

Yes, I would.
We used to joke about having 5 children and naming the last one Quentin. That's never going to happen for us. So we named our Mazda 5 Quentin instead.
