Looking for recs! Part - time daycare Bowleys Quarters - White Marsh

So long story short, I thought I had found the perfect solution to my childcare issues....but today there were a few things that really rubbed me the wrong way.  So....looking to explore my options, we live in bowleys quarters and I work as a nurse all over baltimore and harford county. We are looking for someone or someplace that will take a 6 month old for 2 days a week.  Anywhere from BQ to White Marsh/Perry Hall would work. Thanks in advance....I am having such a struggle with this.  But maybe it's just me....maybe im a helicopter mama :) lol

    You have to listen to your intuition.  If something bothered you, then there is a reason for it.

    It is tought to find part-time infant care in Maryland, especially if you want a daycare center.  This is because Maryland has a law against "crib-sharing" at daycare centers.  That means that every baby must be assinged his or her own crib and even if they are not using it another baby cannot use it.  Often infant rooms don't have enough space in their sleeping areas for part time cribs.

    It isn't impossible to find a part-time spot in a center, just harder.   You may want to focus your search on in-home centers or a nanny share.

    My friend lives in BQ and knows a lot of people in the area. I will ask her if she knows anyone and let you know.

    Parkville Christian Nazarene Daycare does part time for infants. When my kids were babies we really loved the staff and the directors are super nice.

    My dd when there for a yr and my nieces about 4 yrs. It is a nice place and the staff is all very nice. Also VERY reasonable priced.

    My baby is there as are my twins. We are happy.
