Birth Story

2 weeks before i had my baby, i went to the hospital cause i felt something leaking, but i just thought it was discharge, so i went to go get checked to see if it was my water. We had to wait in a waiting room cause they had to clean a room so i can get examined. When they examined me they took about 5 minutes to see what it was and came back to the room and told me that it is my water that is leaking. A doctor came in with a sheet about induction, telling me about the risks and what they are gonna do , so i signed it and it was suppose to be the next day they were gonna induce me. The next day came and i was so excited that my baby was gonna be born, but then my doctor came in and told me that i had to wait until i was 36 weeks and i was only 34 weeks so i had to wait 2 more weeks to have him. I was kinda upset that i wasn't gonna have him that day but i thought about it and it was for the best if i waited longer, so he can get bigger and healthier. For the 2 weeks a got 3 ultrasounds to see how the baby was doing and to see if there was still enough fluid in there. I got a distress test to see if the baby was moving, but he wasn't so the doctor gave me some apple juice he was still not moving, we also tried water and that didn't work either, so the doctor was gonna take me to labor and delivery, but a doctor suggested that we try orange juice and finally he was moving. Everyday i was waiting and waiting until the day came to me to be induced. I was 36 weeks on August 8 , 2011 , they started potcin  at a 11 am , My back was hurting really bad so i got the epidural and i felt better, 2 hours after that i was already 4 - 5 cm i was getting more and more excited , 4 hours after that i was 8-9 cm. About  2 hours  before they checked my cervix my boyfriend came to the hospital since he had work, the doctor was checking my cervix and vinnie was gonna go to robins to go get me something after i have him, but then the doctor told him not to go cause i was 10 cm and that it was time to have a baby. I pushed, and pushed until finally at 8.19 I had my baby, he was weighing at 7 pounds exact, we named him Dominick Vincet Collins, He is a good baby and that im sorry i didn't post this yet i was just very busy with school and taking care of Dominick, But i hoped that you loved this story.
