I had just completed P90X when I found out I was pg with DS and I looked awesome - esp as my boobs grew and my stomach was still flat. I didn't gain weight until the 25 week (yes, my Dr got on me about that and yes, i was eating) probably due to my metabolism after working out so hard with P90X.
I've allowed myself to get a little pudge, so I"m going to take care of it this month!

I lost 25 lbs over 5-6 months before starting IVF. I've been lucky that the meds haven't put any weight on so far. In fact I lost 5 lbs while on stims, without exercising, just sticking to my diet, and I am prone to gain weight very easily.
It's been nice to maintain my current weight while being able to "cheat" a little more frequently lately, but if this cycle doesn't work, I'm going to try and take off another few pounds (I'm 5-10 away from my goal weight) in between cycles.
I did no eating after 7pm except pure healthy things and lots of water. Pretty much removed gluton from my diet as well which has given me so much more energy. If you're looking for gluton free nummys Trader Joes has a "g" symbol on everything and these great pancakes in the freezer section. I put some blueberries on them and maple syrup and mmm..
Also going to be doing yoga as well with a personal yoga instructor... she comes to my home so I don't have to worry about a sitter. Such a gift. Her name is Alex - website is:https://meetyouonthemat.com/
I'm not focused on it now that we're pregnant. However, I worked at it (the right way) from January on and lost 25 pounds before we started to TTC. I worked out at a gym on a regular basis and I tracked every. single. thing. I put in to my mouth (even gum). It was hard to get used to, but it really paid off.
When we met with our OB for our first appointment, we both stated that we were surprised at how quickly it happened for us because we know how hard so many deserving parents have to try. But she told me it likely helped, a lot, that I was able to get my BMI back in to the (higher end of) normal range and that I likely would have had more problems before. Now that I'm pregnant, she told me that I should aim to only gain back what I lost since I'm still a bit chunkier for my build than I should be. At least I started this pregnancy from the right place!
I had the same questions so thanks for all the wonderful information. Pre-wedding I worked really hard and lost about 5 pounds in a month, however, since the wedding I think I've found those 5 pounds and maybe a few more. I have always been on the heavy side when it comes to what the scale said for most of my life but would love to shed a few 10 to 15 pounds before TTC. DH and I don't plan to start trying till late-January so I'm hoping I'll have time to get a little healthier.
I started losing weight in June when I knew I would be going off BCP at the end of July. Since then I've lost 17 pounds (3 to go)! I definitely didn't want to go into TTC at the weight I was, I would have had too hard of a time losing all the weight after my pregnancy!!

Yes...back in March of this year I decided to get my act together (I was 5'10 and 175 pounds, technically still within healthy weight for my height but felt horrible and kept having to increase my pant size ) to get healthy and avoid gaining a ton of weight while pregnant. Seven months later I've lost almost 10 percent of my body fat (lost 20 pounds and gained muscle weight), fit into clothes I haven't fit into since I was 24 (I'm 30) and have actually become addicted to working out. My secret is 4-5 days of cardio (1 day of interval running) and 2 days of intense weight lifting with my amazing personal trainer.
My husband and I have been TTC since May and I feel that now I'm at a point where I'm fit and healthy and hope to continue on with my work outs during pregnancy.
