last week or two weeks ago someone posted about what is left on your to-do list. It really helped me out to start mine. You'd think that having already done this before I would know what I need to do before baby gets here but I'm having serious pregnancy brain and forgetting all sorts of things.
So... anyone care to share what is left on their to-do list?
Re: to-do list
I think those are the big things that we have left. Oh, and packing my hospital bag!
Baby Turtle - November 2014
-daily registry stalking to see if/when I should buy some essentials off our registry (need baby tub, receiving blankets, changing pad)
-we just got our dream stroller off ebay, so I am waiting for that to arrive
-install car seat base and car seat and have it checked (plan for this week)
-contact patient liason here to give a tour of L&D, show me where to park, register, etc (hopefully this week)
-prep cloth diapers, they are on the way but won't be here for a few weeks
-make some freezer meals (waiting until 37 weeks, I don't have much freezer space)
-other small odds and ends such as organizing baby's room, etc.
DS born via unplanned C-section at 40w6d
--Vacuum van and rearrange car seats/install infant seat (this weekend)
--Put together bouncy seat
--Preregister at hospital (waiting for new c/s date first)

--Organize changing table
--Clean out girls toys

If I could do my to-do list it would have on it...
buy a couple of things (ergo sport, swing, coolest exersaucer evah)
hang a couple of pictures in the nursery
clean up my house just a little bit
That's it. And it's a good thing since I'm on "take it easy" orders (my doc's way of saying bedrest).
Ummmm, you could say we still have EVERYTHING to do!!! I'm so "whatever" this time!!!!

You have a recipe for lactation cookies? Excuse the ignorance, but is that cookies that help your milk produce?? If so, could you share the recipe??
1. Install carseat (appt. today)
2. Put all LO's clothes, etc. in her dresser (which has not arrived yet)
3. Hang wall art (again waiting on the dresser)
4. Pick LO's going home outfit
5. Buy some yoga pants for coming home in
Gosh I think that might be it! :-)
Hahaha, thank you!! You too!!! I'm sure we'll get it done- we've been sooo busy the last several weekends, and not even home the last 2. This weekend "all" we have is my mom's suprise 60th, so we will have all day Sunday to get some stuff done! Best of luck to you
buy a pack n' play
install car seats
buy a baby book (I just realized I don't have one the other day.... whoops!)
They are cookies for helping milk production. Last time I used a recipe on epicurious, but I think I'll try this one this time:

Looks somewhat healthier. The important ingredients are brewer's yeast, flax and oats and there are lots of ways to sneak those into your diet, like throwing flax into smoothies

Ahh who am I kidding, I'll just do what I feel when I feel.
On Monday our hardwood floors are getting the final coat of polyurethane and then our home construction projects are DONE. I am upset that things went this late but oh well.... now we have to:
- clean our entire house
- assemble all of our baby things (so far just the dresser, swing and pnp are put together)
- the crib arrives tuesday so we have to put that together
- install car seat & have it checked
- find a pediatrician
- buy & hang curtains and/or blinds for the baby room
- pack hospital bag
- I have 1 more week of work left and that has its own to-do list
- this is the big one: decide on a name!
At this point I've given up on being completely "ready" before LO gets here but I feel good that we have everything we need and DH can scramble to get things assembled last minute if need be.
