So I saw a commercial today for a new Erectile Dysfunction treatment...a penis pump--that's covered by medicare & private insurance!!!!!  Tongue Tied

 

So, you mean to tell me (and the IF community) that an old man's ED is more important than helping women who desperately want a child to conceive?!!  Super Angry

 I don't mean to offend anyone if this is a factor in your IF...the commercial had couples in their 60+ in it so it was advertising to the older age group.

    At one point, medicare would pay for Viagra but( as you stated) Medicaid( and we all know they are the same health care just for different age groups) wouldn't cover either infertility or birth control. ( and we wonder why so many of the people who live off " the system" have so many kids).

    That is freaking ridiculous!!  I am not saying older men or men with those issues shouldn't get to have help or a satisfying sex life, I just think getting help (insurance coverage) to have a baby is a little bit more important.  Sheesh.
