I've been having contractions since Thursday night (not enough to dilate though unfortunately). Now I have shooting pain up and down my spine. Anyone else experience this?
Fun! I have had this shooting down the inside of my right thigh. It's so sharp and sudden it makes me stop and catch my breath. It's funny the nerves they lean up against and the things they can cause!
Awesome! I'm not the only one dealing with this! It started a few days ago. I told the hubby it feels like a pulsing electric shock that goes from the bottom of my thoracic all the way down. Sometimes it hurts so bad it's a hard to breath!

Yep. Occasionally I'll get what feels like a zing or crackle of electricity shooting from my lower back straight up my spine to the back of my neck, and I can't breathe. It's not painful at all, just knocks the wind out of me for about 30 seconds. I have to sit still and breathe shallowly till it passes. I haven't been able to tell conclusively if my belly is contracting during each of these episodes because they catch me by surprise and then I have to focus on breathing.
OB nurse said it's probably a BH contraction hitting when LO happens to be positioned on a nerve, and nothing to worry about.
