Cancer sucks!

My sister's friend, who in May gave birth to twin girls, went to the Dr. because she thought she had a clogged duct that was causing a lump.  It turned out to be stage II breast cancer.  She is having a double mastectomy this week..  She is only 30 years old.  Her poor family has dealt with cancer before when she lost her father to cancer at age 14.  Hearing this news made me count my blessings,  Just when i thought my life was rough and hectic this really puts things in perspective.

    That's terrible! Cancer sucks, but it so awful when it happens to someone so young. I've known far too many people who has had cancer or lost their battle with cancer. I just found out my grandpa has cancer everywhere throughout his body. Praying for a cure for cancer soon! And prayers for your sister's friend!

    That is absolutely awful.  Cancer really does suck!  I hope the surgery and treatment are very successful and she kicks cancer ass.

    Cancer does suck. My mom has breast cancer. She had a single mastectomy 12yrs ago. It was gone for 9yrs. We thought it was cured. Nope. Matastasized (sp?) in her lung 3 yrs ago. She is fighting it with hormones. She said they are close to finding a cure in Isreal, where she lives. Yeah!!!! I hope they do it soon. Good luck to your sis's friend

    I am so glad they caught it.

    cancer does suck.  Because of cancer, I stopped believing in God.  

    I hope your friend gets through her treatment and has a long and healthy life.

    Wow!  At least they found it and I will pray for a speedy recovery for her and prayers to her family as well.

    Cancer truly does suck. I have lost 2 family members and a good friend to cancer. Every day when I wake up, I feel blessed to have my health.

    My T&Ps go to your friend and her family! I hope that all goes well for her!

    After 2 years of TTC, our daughter was born on Oct 31, 2011!
