I have learned so much from becoming pregnant and now I cant believe so many mothers have go threw this...
I thought I was educated on pregnancy before hand, yeah right!
some might sound stupid now but things I didnt know before I got pregnant:
didnt know your feet could grow while you are pregnant
didnt know your organs actually moved to make room for baby
didnt know cravings were so intense
didnt know m/s could be so vicious!
please add your own below!
Re: things I didnt know before I got pregnant
I didn't know how tired you can get even on a full night's sleep
I didn't know your nasal passage swelled
I didn't know you could get carpal tunnel during pregnancy (I also didn't know that a chiropractor can help with carpal tunnel)
I didn't know that foods craved would taste that good. It's like eating for the first time.
I didn't realize how tired I would be
I didn't realize that none of my pre-pregnancy clothes would fit by five months.
I didn't think the hormonal roller coaster would be like this!
Don't hate me for this one, but....I didn't know you could actually be pregnant and not get horrible throw-up morning sickness. I thought that was a given - I was only sick two times.
That there was a different kind of tired your body could feel from growing a life.
That as sweet as growing a baby is, it is still a little creepy to feel another being moving around inside you!
That something as creepy as another being living inside you could make you so happy and excited.
That I could be almost to my third trimester and still barely look pregnant.
That I would feel healthier pregnant than any other time in my life.
That I would have the strength to inject myself with needles and test my blood sugar (GD).
That all the freaking out you do first trimester goes away and you can just relax and be happy and pregnant.
That being pregnant would be the most surreal experience where you know there is a baby growing in your belly, but it just doesn't seem possible.

That you can love someone without ever having met them.
That you can throw up and still be nauseated.
I didn't know you'd be questioned by random strangers.
I didn't know I'd have no time to do anything.
I didn't know I'd be sleeping 24/7.
I didn't know babies seem to communicate from the inside.
I didn't know babies taste whatever you eat through the amnio.
I didn't know how fun kicking and movement would be.
I didn't know how easily I could go without wine, soft cheese and coffee.
I didn't know I could last months of feeling hungover everyday (without the fun night before).
(this is a great post idea!)
I didn't know I could feel so sick with nothing on my stomach...
I didn't know I could feel so connected to someone without meeting them...
I didn't know I would have such heightened road rage (seriously. it's so bad. every time someone does something stupid, now it's not just ME they are endangering...they're risking the life of MY CHILD!)...
I didn't know my husband would be able to love our baby so much without meeting her...
I didn't know I would have such strong emotional reactions to just about everything...
I didn't know I could eat grilled cheese 24/7 like I do!
This is such a good one! SO true!
Prior to getting pregnant, I didn't know what it was like to go an entire day without being able to find a single comfortable position.
I didn't know that it was possible to be this gassy. All. The. Time.
I didn't know what it felt like to have my stomach get in the way of things.
I didn't know that I would be constantly hungry.
And, I didn't know how much I'd miss being able to take any medication I needed for any ailment, at anytime, without having to double and triple check to make sure it's safe.
HA! I didn't know I'd still have cramps sometimes!
I'm a FTM but if we feel like this pregnant, how are we going to feel when they are out here. No wonder they say parents always worry and never stop no matter how old they are.
I didn't know I could feel so beyond tired after waking up from a 3 hour nap.
I didn't know you could be so hungry without thinking anything sounded good.
I didn't know it was possible to be pregnant with basically no symptoms (sorry ladies with serious m/s)
I didn't know you could be so excited and so terrified for the same thing at the same time.

Hope that happens to me! I have tiny feet (size 5) and can never get cute shoes! Lol
I didn't know that morning sickness could be soooooooooo bad.
I didn't know that having a stuffy nose all the time came with being pregnant.
I didn't know that you could be so tired all the time.
I didn't know that you could get carpal tunnel during pregnancy.
I didn't realize how sore my body would feel so early on!
I didn't know my butt could hurt from sitting.
I didn't know how painful birth could be.
I didn't know the baby could change my personality just by being there.
I didn't know how long the whole pregnancy would seem to last.
I didn't know:
There could be this much pain and nothing be wrong
I could play with my baby before he is born
I could tell what kind of personality he already has
I could go so long without wanting to eat, and then suddenly feel like I was about to starve.
I could pee this much/ on myself/ feel like I needed to go a gallon and go a tablespoon instead- and still be happy with myself.
My waist could be over 3 feet around and I wouldn't care.
That I can do this too.
I didn't know:
I would be peeing all the time and it would be sad trickle like an old man with a prostate problem.
M/S could be so crippling and last so long! (It's was like a 4 month flu)
I could be so freaking uncomfortable lying down!
It's a little bit weird feeling something alive inside of you.
I would be this relaxed about alot of it.
I would actually love my husband more!
