I know this is cart before horse, but I bought a glider last weekend. It's matches our living room furniture and is very comfy, so for us it's dual purpose (not just for baby).
Well it came in today, so we will be picking it up in a few minutes!!! I am so excited bc it is ridiculously comfy.
What's the biggest/most expensive cart-before-horse thing you've bought?
Re: Expensive Cart-Before-Horse
We bought a 5 bedroom house before having any babies to fill it with.
(Granted, only two of those rooms are planned to be used as kids rooms... but if we wind up never having kids, we'll have at least 1 room that we'll have to come up with a use for!)

We got a second, "family-sized" car and upgraded from a 1br apt. to a 2 br apt.
I would love a house, but HCOL areas suck assss.

Mmmmm, I don't know. I guess I'd say our cars. We have 2 station wagons. But our reasoning behind it is b/c we need all-wheel drive, and we didn't want SUVs. Gives us the cargo space we need for skis, dog, etc....and also for strollers, babies, etc.
I'd also like to say our house, but DH thinks that our 1700 sq.ft. 3 bedroom house is too small for us + baby. I think he's taking crazy pills.
Dx: Feb '13 - HSG shows clear tubes but minor diverticulitis; Borderline DOR; Low DHEA and low testosterone.
Moving on to IUI or IVF.

I honestly bought a stock pile of diapers that could literally last us a whole year...The total retail value is redic, however, I coupon and paid less than $4 for a bag that usually costs $10. They don't ever expire and I figure I can always give them away as gifts if I end up not being able to have babies. I have a pic I'll post lol. This was how I convinced MH that we can afford a baby.
I want a glider!! you're so lucky.

I'm with ya. I'm terrified of jinxing myself (even though I'm not at all superstitious) so I haven't bought a damn thing.

I agree with this. I had a freaking breakdown last month bc I bought 2 pairs of pj pants from Target. One in my size, and one a size up. I cried later bc I figured I could wear the larger ones when I'm KU, and I thought I had jinxed it.

The only thing we've bought for future baby are a Brewers set (pacifier, bottle, and bib) and a pajama set with guitars on it.
I do plan on seeing if I can find any expensive furniture items on Black Friday though, so we'll see.
So dd is helping me post, lol.
Anyways, I haven't really bought much for a second child, but we did trade in my car for a bigger one last week, but DD's car seat only fit in the middle of my old one, so no way 2 kids could fit. and I bought her jumperoo as unisex, so 2nd baby can use it, if it is a boy. But yesterday, I did buy DD a pink walker. DH pointed out I should have probably got a unisex one.
