Cloth Diapering

Making Doublers/Soakers HELP!

Hi Ladies - I really would love to hear any guideance you have on how to make some doublers/soakers for my dipes (BG's and Thirsties Duo). Spicifically, I'd love some suggestions on the materials to use.

I don't have much cash at all, but I could get a yard of something at Joanne's if you have suggestions? I also read about using old towels and birp cloths/swaddling blankets - has anyone tried that?

Thanks!

Re: Making Doublers/Soakers HELP!

  • Pretty much anything absorbent will work. Cotton is probably the easiest to find. I've made diapers or inserts out of towels, swaddling blankets, t-shirts, sheets, you name it... if you don't have stuff around the house, try a thrift store.
