Morgan had a few good months of no consistent puking, when she did she did have her low grade fever and massive amounts of puking. Now over the past month or so, she's back to her normal routine. She's still behind developmentally, no transition in positions, or crawling, or attempt to crawl or weight bearing of any sort on her arms.
I'm wondering about eospinohpllic esophagitis, but the immunologist has never mentioned allergies as being a possible reason.
I have scheduled allergy testing tomorrow because she gets these spots/bumps on her face after eating a good portion of the time, and it's not related to her environment.
She gets so mucus-y when she pukes now that it's like she just gags and gags and it's kind of scary.
She also gags on most solids, she will have a good day here and there but the bad days have been a lot more common. She also doesn't drink anymore than 4oz at a time.
I don't know if her axid needs adjusted or not, but last I asked a few months ago her pedi said he wouldn't adjust it above 1ml because it's not approved for pedi use.
Re: Ughhh M's symptoms
Is she congested at certain times and does she tend to throw up at those times?
This is random, but DH was throwing up in the morning for several years, sometimes while brushing his teeth, sometimes in the car, etc. We started dating and I informed him that that was not typical and we went to the doctor. It turns out he had been sleeping under a down comforter, on a down pillow, and was allergic to down. I know your daughter is not sleeping wrapped in feathers, but if she is having some sort of allergy that causes congestion that can definitely make you gag to the point of vomiting.
You will have to let us know the results of the allergy test. Hopefully that will give you some answers and ideas on how to alleviate the issue. Hang in there!
Nope, I've actually never noticed any congestion, she just gets wheezy after she pukes a lot. She's never even had a runny nose. She has slept in different locations, in different types of bedding, etc. And it hasn't seemed to make a difference. We did allergy testing yesterday and nothing turned up, at all.
We go back to immunology in early November, so I guess we will see what they say and retest her immune levels again.
