I actually don't drink coffee usually, but it's the only thing that unconstipates me! So, I have one cup once a week, regular.
But some people are so scared about the caffiene. Do you still drink your coffee every day? Drink it, but make it decaf? Cut it out completely?
(I don't drink soda, so don't think the occasional coffee is that bad.)
Re: Do you still drink coffee?
i have maybe 1-2 a day. i don't think that's excessive.
the studies are inconclusive.
I have 1 or 2 cups a day. No soda.
I have a decaf latte almost every day (my husband works at Starbucks), but they say even decaf can have some caffeine...
Every once in a while, if I have a headache, I'll get my latte half-caf. Or I'll drink a Coke. This is on my midwife's suggestion, actually, who said it's hard for the body to cut out caffeine completely when you had it before.
8oz regular coffee with skim milk (used to drink it black..and 24oz)
and a 12 oz regular coke at night... but that helps my stomach
water all day and night inbetween!

Yes, just not as often as before. I used to drink about 3-4 cups a day when B was really little, and I got no sleep.
I am at a loss why people think this is bad?? Someone inform me.
I have a routine. If I drink hot coffee, I'll get it decaf because Starbucks and Caribou can make that happen. If it's a cold/blended coffee, it's already premixed, so I'll get that sometimes. It depends on whether I want hot or cold. I don't drink pop unless I'm out to eat, which isn't often. Even then it's only root beer.
I do it that way so I can have what I want when I want without feeling bad. Then if I want 2 cups in one day, I don't have to think, "Well, I had one yesterrday. Should I or shouldn't I?"
And DH wants me to limit it just in case, so I try. Even though I'm not really worried. I'd hate to think it's ok and then have it turn out to be bad for the baby (after more research is done). So I limit but don't cut out.
