Recommendations on a nice stroller, lightweight and under $300

Hi, ladies I'm looking for a new stroller to purchase for the new baby.  In the past I've always bought the graco travel systems. A single with ODS and then the double with my twin sons.  So any recs would be great, just wanted to add, I'm not a jogger, though I need to be lol.

  • We just got a Citi Mini as our travel stroller.  I think you can pop an infant seat into it with an adapter.  It is pretty light and has an amazing one-handed fold.  We haven't actually used it yet, but I've heard great things about it.

  • Get the Britax B-Agile stroller - it's like the city jogger but cheaper and better :) Check the reviews. It includes the infant car seat adaptor that the city jogger does not. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VoCeLTtXP-U

  • The City Mini is on sale right now for $199. If you go to Bed Bath and Beyond that has a baby store in it you can use a coupon and get it for around $170. I have the City Elite and LOVE it. I was debating forever between the two, but since this is my main stroller (Parks, zoos, uneven surfaces) I decided to go for the step up.

I don't know how long you have to wait, but they are about to release the City Mini GT next year. It has up graded tires that are forever air filled I think. It looks really nice. If my son was not 6 months I would have held out (it was time to retire the snap n go). Not sure what the price is, but the video makes me sad it is coming out next year.

  • We also have the City Mini for our travel stroller and love it for that function - the open/close is by far the easiest out there, sun canopy rocks and overall is a nice stroller.  My only two negatives is that the basket is small and hard to get to and the brake is a pain with flip flops.  I probably judge these two points a little harsher since our main stroller has a kick-arse basket and a pedal-like brake.

  • We're getting the Britax B-Agile, I've very excited about it!

It's very similar to the City Mini but doesn't need a separate car seat adapter if you use a Britax infant seat.

  • We have the Baby Jogger City Mini and love it! We use it as our everyday stroller but also works well for traveling, shopping, or whatever else you would want to do! We have been using the car seat adapter bar with our Chicco car seat most of the time but have on a few occasions just used the seat reclined.

  • Another vote for the Britax B-Agile!
  • Thanks ladies for all the responses.  I really like the look of the City Mini and Britax B-Agile strollers, but I'm really loving the new updates on the City Mini GT 2012. Since I'm not due til May that may be an option as well. Wink
