Looking for OB/Gyn Baylor Grapevine

Any suggestions for an OB/Gyn that delivers at Baylor Grapevine? My previous doctor only delivers at a hospital that is very far away and no longer has an office in Southlake. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Looking for OB/Gyn Baylor Grapevine

  • Dr. Moser! She delivered #1 as well as 2 friends babies. She's awesome! I wish she was still close enough so I could use her with #3.
  • Dr. Julia Flowers is really awesome. I recently got kidney stones and was sent home from my hospital/my former doctor with orders to "take tylenol and call back on Monday." When the pain become completely unbearable, we packed up and went to Baylor Grapevine, where Dr. Flowers was the on call L&D doc. She was really great and listened to me and believed me (I was in a TON of pain). Since then, I've switched to her as my primary OB, and she and her staff have been very attentive to my issues (I also have a low platelet condition). One of my girlfriends sees Dr. Wai at the same practice and likes him, too.

  • I really like my OB.  Her name is Wendy Kindrick from Women's Integrated Healthcare.  They have a bunch of female OB's in the practice.  One plus is that they are directly across from BG.  One con is their wait time but to me it was worth it.

  • Has anyone heard of Dr. Morris in Dr. Flower's office?

  • I used Dr. Morris at that office. I have no complains and no raves about her either. . She is nice, very quiet. If I didn't ask a question she didn't volunteer anything. She has been much more outgoing since I had the baby. I don't know why. I have continued to see her.

  • Is Dr. Kindrick as difficult as Dr. Flowers to get in to? Dr. Flowers was booked until April 2012 unless I was already pregnant. I am looking for a new OB so that I can start trying to get pregnant. My old OB doesn't have an office in Southlake anymore and her new office is way too far,so I am looking for another one. Thanks for everyones help.

I don't know for sure as I was already pregnant when I called to make the appointment. But they got me in at pretty much exactly 8 weeks. The good thing about her office is there are several OBs in the practice, so I would imagine someone would be available quickly.

  • I started going to Dr. Kindrick when I needed a specialist from abnormal paps.  I had no problem getting in for an appointment and never had a problem in the future getting in with her.

  • Dr. Angela Cope with Women's Integrated Health.  It's an all women practice right across the street from Baylor Grapevine.

Or Dr. Walters with WIH.  I am with her, she is great.

  • I hope you have been able to find a good doctor, but if you're still searching, Dr. Morris is wonderful!  She is part of the practice that includes Dr. Flowers and Dr. Wai, and the practice's founding partner Dr. Sims is the former chief of OB at Baylor Grapevine.  Yes, she is on the quiet side, but I have found her to be calm, patient, and more than willing to stay as long as I need her to in my appointment (very rare these days!) to answer my MANY questions, and she has been wonderfully supportive in my pregnancy and gynecological health.  I am 30 weeks pregnant and feel secure that I am in very good hands!
  • I second Dr. Moser!! I am a current patient, and she's awesome - her staff is amazing, too.

I advise against Women's Integrated Healthcare - they were recently sued by the TX Attorney General for implanting non-FDA approved Mirena devices, bought from Canada, without informing patients. They did this because the non-FDA approved Mirena devices were cheaper for them, but they still charged the full amount to the patient. I don't call that trustworthy at all.
