Does anyone else not have a name picked out yet? I feel like DH and I will never agree on anything! We have decided his middle name will be Scott, after both of our brothers.
Some names on my list are: Henry, Miles, Ian, Eli, Wyatt
DH likes: Owen
Please send me some new suggestions! Last name starts with an "A", so I'm not really big on a first name that also begins with an "A".
Thanks
Re: Anyone NOT have a baby name?
I love Eli and Owen.
We don't have anything set in stone.
I thought we did with Parker but then my sister commented on how it sounded with our last name which ends in -er as well and now I am doubting it. We have agreed on a girl name, however, we aren't having a girl so it's worthless...lol
Funny--our last name starts with "A" and I love "A" names
Does YH like any of the same names as you? From the list you gave, Henry is my favorite w/ MN Scott.
I like all your names but I will warn you that Eli is insanly popular right now.
My nephew is Owen! We have a niece named Elli (full name is Eliana), which is why we dropped Eli or Elliott from our list. Hmmm...Miles is the name of our oldest cat. Wyatt is cute, but sounds southern to me. I really like the name Henry - I don't know why - just do!
We don't really have a name yet. The only one we have liked so far has been Benjamin David (the David is after my husband and his father - DH is a Jr and I couldn't handle a third, so this is my compromise).
I wish I had more suggestions for you. Our other male cat is named Cole. Does that help?

He thinks the names on my list are ok, and I think his one name is ok. Haha, we are just struggling to find something we love. Henry is my favorite, and DH says he knows a douchebag named Henry. If we go by that standard then we will really never find a name we can agree on!
On a funny note about Eli, when we told MIL some of the names on the lists she told us Eli was a Jewish name, because she knew a Jewish guy once and his name was Eli. I was like ummmm....what?
We don't have a name settled yet, either; we have a bunch we're trying to decide between, and by nature, we're both really indecisive people, haha. So it's a bit of a trial!
A few names...
Tristan, Isaac, Jordan...
Have you tried Nymber.com? It has a neat generator that takes the names you already like and suggests ones similar to them.

We were having the hardest time with girl names - I thought for sure we'd be battling it out in the hospital. And then it just kind of came to us last weekend... It will happen!
I love Henry and Miles on your list!
Awww I feel your pain. The name we chose (Chloe Alexandria) was literally the ONLY name we could agree on. And I know Chloe is popular, but since DH had vetoed all my other favorite names and I didn't like his, I decided that the popularity wasn't that big an issue to me. Now that we know what we're having, and we've been calling her Chloe, it SO fits. It just feels right. I can't imagine any of the other names we'd talked about.
So, I think when you finally settle on a name and start referring to your baby by that name, it'll just click for ya!
***Congratulations to my TTCAL buddy Roxyttandme!! It's a GIRL!! Charlotte arrived on 9/29!!!!***
PGaL/PAL Always Welcome!!
This for us too- it came to us last night. With DS we had names set before our A/S. We had 2 boys names we loved, but nothing for a girl. Of course we are having a girl. I'm sure it will come to you. I spent MANY hours on nymbler, name boards, babynamewizard, etc. The name we picked never popped up- a coworker asked a customer his daughter's names.
I like all of your names! I think you and your husband have a very similar style. I think Henry, Owen, and Ian sound better with Scott than Wyatt and Eli. Another option would be Evan
We don't have a solid name yet either. Wyatt is our default name but neither one of us are sure it's "the one." There's nothing wrong with Wyatt, we both really like it, but it's such a big decision. I want to get it right!
love is for every her, love is for every him, love is for everyone
My Colton...Growing up so fast!
And Coralee, his baby sister...On the way!
I think we have somewhat decided (depending on a few factors). Our last name is German and short, which makes it a little more difficult to find a name that goes with it. But we both seem to like family names. If it's a boy, middle name will be Andrew (DH's first name), and first name will be after his deceased uncle/godfather (name is also a common family name on my side). If it's a girl, middle name will be Lynn (my middle name prior to getting married), and first name will be after his cousin (no real reason, he just likes the name, and I have no problems with it).
It was almost too easy for us to pick these names, so I'm kind of scared that when I go into labor, we'll suddenly decide that we don't like them anymore!
I like Ian, Eli, and Wyatt. Not as much of a fan of Owen, but that's because I used to date one!
Good luck!
P.S. FWIW, my sister is a teacher, and every year rules out names that she could never name her children based on her students. If you are in this position, I'm very sorry!
I can relate, we are having a hard time with a boy's name too.
All the names on your list are really nice.
Henry Scott has a nice flow to it. So does Ian Scott. I like the sound of two syllables followed by one syllable.
DH is a teacher/coach, so yep, we are in this position. To make it worse, he teaches the alternative education students, who are pretty much all juvenile delinquents on the last step before they get sent to juvey, so all of his students are absolute terds.
