I also tried making manicotti, but the recipe was a bust. I ended up making a kind of manicotti/lasagna hybrid out of the ingredients.
ETA: I also made beef stew and chili, but those were out of cook books, not online.
Lurking..I really want to make a lasagna to freeze, but I was wondering do I go through all the steps and then throw it in the freezer? Clearly I'm not a natural cook, so I really need someone to tell me step by step what to do. Can you tell me what you did? TIA!

None of the recipes I used are online, but I made: key lime mango pulled pork, chicken verde casserole (and then just froze the extra chicken to use in tacos or over rice), sloppy joes, lentil soup, and pumpkin spice muffins. I wanted to do more (mac and cheese and sausage and peppers) but I don't have the room!
I did a bunch of soups and chilis, casseroles, mini meatloaves, grillades and one of my faves chicken burritos and bean burritos. Also keeping tortellini and ravioli stocked in the freezer, minute rice, instant potatoes and grits in the pantry.

just follow the recipe. I have used this recipe before and made both cheese lasagna and sausage lasagna. The only difference you will notice is that you do NOT cook the noodles before putting them in the dish. After you take them out of the freezer, the noodles will cook while the lasagna is baking. Mine came out perfect every time.
