Does your LO get more tired when s/he is teething?

Baby boy has been exhausted this week, and his top two front teeth are in the midst of busting through.

Does your LO get more tired when they are teething, or is this unrelated?

  • Maybe the pain is keeping him from sleeping as well/soundly, so that's why he's more tired?

  • thanks... I'm thinking that must be the case!  poor little things.
  • Yeah, sometimes and it's what rssn said. He doesn't sleep as well at night, so he's more tired during the day. Sorry, teething sucks. :(

  • Yah, DD spends more time sleeping when she's teething. She wakes up more often at night, and is grumpy during the day. I think all this makes her tired and the amount of time she spends napping or in bed is much more. Teething must be hard work!
  • DS never did, he slept way worse when he was teething.  DD is cutting molars and sleeping like a fiend.  Like, 13 hour nights with 3-4 hour naps.

  • Yes, DD totally does.  Is it sad that I'd like for her to cut another molar soon so that she'll take 2 2-hour naps daily again?  Devil
