This definitely seems to be my style, so I'm wondering if there may be some other names out there in this category that I might love. What are your favorites?

I worked at a nursing home, and ended up finding some really good baby names! Altho half of why I love the names probably have to do with how inspiring/goofy/loving some of my residents were, and not really about the names. And I love names that have nicknames, especially if they end in -ie, or -ey. Here's my list of favs
Boy names:
Arnold (nickname Arnie), Bernard (Bucky), Emrys (Em), Mic/Mick
I absolutely love the name Marjorie. I don't have an "old man" favorite.
"Man, be creative. Like the stuff you do. Do nice things. Love respectfully. Laugh a fucking lot. Curse when you feel like it. Life is cool." - Jean Grae

DD is named after my grandmother... her name is Elsie. I used to joke with DH about us having 2 little girls named after both my grandmothers- Elsie and Eugenia! If we have a boy this time, I'd really like to use the name Henry! I love the old-fashioned names too!
