s/o tooth fairy: game plan

so what is your game plan for the tooth fairy?  I know for me, I had a little silk pillow shaped like a tooth that had a little pocket on it (loved that thing) and I put my tooth in it, put it in my bed with me and then when I woke up there was a silver dollar in there.  so I'm thinking that is basically what we'll do with the boys too.  my only worry though is our old creaky house and the fact the boys share a room, I would really hate to wake them in the middle of the night and get caught......so what do you guys plan to do?

    We give the kids two gold coins. I also started giving a typed letter! They like the letter better than the money! I have two that share a room and no one has caught me yet. I check on the kids at night so it wouldn't be weird that I am in their room. The worst is when I forget and have to do it first thing in the morning when they really could wake up! Ugh! This is my love/hate relationship. Also whatever you give keep plenty on hand. Kate has pulled her tooth out at 9 at night and I have to scramble to find two gold coins!

    I had a pillow with a pocket that the tooth was in and then money would be left under my pillow. I don't know what I'm going to do because as of right now, I wake Abigail up every time I even look in her room :o/ But my mom gave her a little tooth shaped box a couple years ago, so she'll use that and we'll probably give her a dollar/tooth.

    I put Emma's money under her pillow.  That way if I forget to do it at night, 'sometimes the money gets knocked under the bed and mommy helps find it'

    Bryan set the bar entirely too high when she started losing teeth.  I think 2 gold coins is a great idea!

    We just bought a tooth shaped bag with a pocket and a little hand on it. The boys will hang the bag on their door and the tooth fairy will take the tooth and leave a yet undetermined amt of money. When I was little I put the tooth in a pillow under my bed, but my boys are light sleepers and for sure would wake up if we tried to sneak in there!

    Kate has developed an issue with touching coins so when we were in NEw Orleans the tooth fairy brought her a special treat and she got a two dollar bill! Still fun, but gotta keep it on hand!

    Put a dollar or two in the pillow for them (once i purchase one).  I check on them every night, so it wouldn't be out of the ordinary that i'm in their rooms.

    We have a silver pouch. I take the toothout and put in 3 bucks. Then I leave a letter from the tooth fairy by the bed.
