My RE told me it was fine. I can also take Benedryl if I have trouble sleeping. He said to worry more about what you take after O rather than before anyway and to go ahead and take Advil or something stronger if I needed to prior to O for my chronic knee issues. Any time after O, strictly Tylenol.

well, the "PM" part is dihphenhydramine, which is Benadryl. It's an antihystamine, so in theory, it can dry up your CM a bit.
I would avoid it around and before O for that reason. And if you can't sleep (but aren't in pain), I would skip the Tylenol, and just take generic dihphenhydramine, it's cheaper that way as well.

Tylenol pm is Tylenol + benadryl. Both are pregnancy category B. That means they are fairly safe even during pregnancy, but u can always check with your doc.

Tylenol PM is fine to take while pregnant. All that's in it to make you sleep is the active ingredient of Benadryl, which is safe while pregnant.

Personally, I'd work on ditching the Advil now and get used to Tylenol.
I was an Advil junkie and the sudden switch to just Tylenol when I got pregnant was brutal.
Also, if you're just trying to get yourself to sleep, with no pain, do the Benadryl only as PP said.
Glad to see these responses. I have tried to wean myself off of any kind of medications while TTC, but I have major insomnia and have never slept well. So, it's good to see that I could possibly take something to help sometimes.
