Tender "mass"

Tonight in the shower I felt a tender mass just under my cesection scar - tender to the touch. I am 12 weeks tomorrow from my twins c-section. I am going to call my OB in the morning but of course I am concerned.

    Is it a smallish lump? Right along/near the incision?  If so, it's probably scar tissue, but call your OB if you are concerned.  I don't recall my scar tissue being tender.

    That sounds like what I had.  My Dr said it was normal (I can't remember if it was dissolvable stitches or what) and should go away with time.  And mine did.

    I had the same thing on the left side of my scar. My doctor checked it out and said it was scar tissue. Its since went down a little bit.
