DH wants to name our baby Clara if it's a girl, after his great grandma. (His dad's name is Clair so it would also be after him) I don't particularly want to have 2 of the same 1st names in the family, maybe a variation, just not the exact same. Anyone have some girl C name suggestions?

I think Clara is distinct enough from Clair in this case, most people around your FIL won't be calling him by his first name (Dad, Grandad, Honey etc.) so it might not be much of an issue.
I also like Clarissa and Clarice as varations.
Other C names I like: Camille, Caitlin, Charlotte, Caroline, Catherine, Cassandra, Claudia, Corinne, Carrie, Carly, Christine, Chloe.

I'm partial to Clara, cause that's DD#1's name.
But if I didn't have a Clara, I'd do Cora. Or Coraline, and call her Cora.
I also love Corrine (sp?), Carina, Camille (Millie) and Cordelia.
