How long after you lost your mucous plug did you have your baby?

I had my doctor's appt on Monday and I was dilated to 2 cm and 50% effaced. I know women can be dilated for a long time before having the baby..... but I also lost my mucous plug on Tuesday. When did you lose yours and when did you have your baby?

    with my dd I lost a tiny bit of my mucous plug in the morning one day at 40w 3d and went into labor that night. there was no other indication that labor was near other than that tiny bit.

    With my first, I lost my mucous plug the morning I went into labor (she was born that night).

    With this one, I've been losing pieces for the last week and no sign of labor as of yet.

    With my son, it was the day before.  On this baby, I think I've been losing pieces for about a week.  No sign of labor yet though, luckily.

    I lost my mucus plug around 37 weeks, I was 2cm dilated and 50% effaced. DD was born at 41 weeks.

    ive been loosing bits and peices of my MP from 33-34 wks i dont think it really matters when you lose it

    I just lost mine yesterday!  Still no other sign on labor :(  With DD, I never lost it - so who knows?!

    I lost it about 2-3 hours before my water broke, DS was born 4 hours after that.

    I lost my mucous plug a few weeks ago and I am still pregnant. I have been 4cm dilated since 38 weeks. Still no contractions though.
    After 2 years of TTC, our daughter was born on Oct 31, 2011!

    I lost mine 2 weeks ago today (I was also already 1-2 cm dialated and 70% effaced) and still no baby.  I'm due tomorrow, trying to be patient!!
