Hi,

Monday I will be a stay at home mom and a little nervous about feeling isolated. Does anyone of any groups or ways I could meet other SAHM? I tried to look up Stroller Fit but some other weird website kept popping up, does anyone know the website or if it is still going on?

try meetup.com for some good moms groups. there used to a ton in katy.

I think Stroller Fit is now part of Baby Bootcamp. CharlotteL is the owner of a franchise in northwest Houston/Champions area. I'm sure she could answer any questions for you. Good luck!

Yeppers StrollerFit was bought out by Baby Boot Camp about 18 months ago. There is a franchise in the Katy area. This is one of the locations.

There are quite a few mom groups in the katy area listed on Yahoo and meet-up. Some are by address- you have to be in a certain area of katy to qualify to be in the group; others are by interest. Also see about various classes, which is how we met our current friends and DS friends as well as check out local libraries for story times or activites. The Katy Parent magazine has info on various mom groups as well.
