First treatment cycle = BFN

Stings a little more than I thought it would after the prior 13 months of BFN's.  On to cycle 15 I suppose.  Le Sigh....

    I'm sorry.  I think the first treatment cycle hurts more b/c it opens you up to being more optimistc since you've added a new element to the routine of BFNs.  Almost like "well now that I've gotten a little help, it will work this time!"  It sucks.  I hope you get your BFP soon.

    I am so sorry!  The first cycle hurt for me also a lot worse than I thought.  I think we all assume we will be one of the lucky ones that are one and done.  BIG (((HUGS)))

    I'm so sorry.  I am currently in my first treatment cycle (beta Friday, tested tues with a bfn) and I totally understand the renewed hope.  I loved it the first week or so, now I'm a little bit of a negative nancy.  Take some time for yourself, good luck!

    Thanks Ladies!  I feel a bit better today - just waiting for AF.

    The worst part was that I was being really good about waiting until Friday to test, but had to go in for some other bloodwork yesterday and they sprung the HCG test on me - i sooo wasn't mentally prepared and then to get the bad news that afternoon - UGH!  I've learned my lesson though - no other bloodwork during the 2WW!

    At least today will be sunny and beautiful and I can look forward to starting the next cycle.  You are right though - I thought that with the extra help and 2 good follies, something positive was BOUND to come out of it.  Next cycle, I'll be a little more cautious.  And the phantom symptoms from the Progesterone supps probably didn't help much either.
