Cankles....venting

So today I officially lost my ankles!  They're nowhere to be found.  :(

Any ideas to help with this situation, or at least cope with it?  I'm hoping the weather will change soon (it's been in the 80's) so I can start wearing pants to hide it.  But now I'm afraid the cute boots I bought might not fit :(

  • Sorry to hear that's started so early for you. My sister got that too, but it wasn't until around 37 weeks. I would say you need to rest and elevate your feet whenever you get the chance. No more heels for you for a while!

  • I've been driving two hours back and forth for work the past two weeks and my whole lower legs are swollen at night.  I'm working from home the next few weeks and the temps really dropped today, so I'm hoping keeping them propped up will help out.  I'm going to freak out if they stay swollen for 4 more months.

  • So sorry to hear that! I know it is awful. Try to keep your feet elevated when you are at home and sleep with them up on a pillow at night. Hopefully this will help. My ankles have swollen several times in the past week, but if I keep them elevated at night they seem to go back to normal the next morning.

  • Thank you ladies for the advice! I will try to keep those puppies elevated and as much as I hate it, I haven't been wearing heels to work.  Hopefully it doesn't last the next three months!!
