Would they be warm enough? I am moving to Rochester and need some boots. I haven't had a pair of snow boots in 15 yrs. but think I need something in our new house
I'm picturing the tan ones that people wear when they go hunting? If so, they are made to be hanging out in the cold and wet, so ya I would say they are good.
Even with the liners in I still think they are a bit chilly and they are awful on icy surfaces. I would recommend a more sturdy winter boot, but thats just me.
I dont know about the Hunter boots, but I splurged on some North Face boots a few years back, and while they arent fashion forward - they are so warm, sturdy and comfortable!

I fear that about the Hunter boots! Just got a pair as a gift.
OP, I would get a pair of fleece lined winter boots. Just make sure that they are "waterproof". A lot of so called "fashion" winter boots are NOT waterproof. Otherwise your feet will still get wet. I would stick with big outdoor brands like Timberland, North Face, EMS, etc.
