The first time he rolls over and it's in his crib with no one to see it! I put him to sleep nearly fully awake tonight, just drowsy, and he talked to himself for a bit then got quiet. I went in to check on him and bam! he's asleep on his stomach. He's been so close to rolling back to belly - just his arm gets in the way. Well I guess he figured out how to get it out from under him!
I know I shouldn't be nervous but I really want to flip him over! He doesn't know how to roll belly to back yet. He looks so comfy though. I think I'll at least let him stay that way until I go to bed.
Re: The little sh!t...
Same thing happened to me the first time too! Put her in the crib, and 5 minutes later find her happily babbling on her stomach like it was no big deal.
dangit N!
Good luck, once she turned into a roly poly her sleep has been a little more frustrating. She keeps rolling into the side of the crib and waking herself up when she realizes she can't roll anymore!
Ha
Sneaky little, sh!t, right?
When LO first started rolling over to his belly, I tried to roll him back when he was in his crib... that was a joke. He would have none of that. I took that as a sign that I no longer needed to worry about it
It made me VERY nervous the first couple nights, but he's good. I put him down on his back every night still, and he immediately rolls to his belly every time. N will be good and happy as a rolling belly sleeper, too, mama!
Wyatt was the opposite- he was having some tummy time in his crib, I went into the kitchen for a second (about 10 steps), and when I walked back in he was on his back smiling up at me. Little jerk. lol
