  I stopped bleeding and then started again for a few days a week later.  Called the OB to be sure, but was told it was normal and it was not a period, just a little more blood making its way out.

  I had a period of on and off. my bleeding didnt stop till 10 1/2 weeks pp.

  For some people, it's normal to bleed for weeks. I would start bleeding again if I over did it. I bled for 5 days each time.
