Hi ladies,
It's been a while! I used to somewhat post regularly on the knot and nest, but I tend to just lurk more these days.
Anywho...I have a question...To make a long story short, I have had some bad experiences with some OB/GYNs at Hopkins (Canton office) and recently found a great doctor through Mercy. Sadly, turns out my new great doctor accepts my insurance, but Mercy (actual facility) does not. Why? Who knows. So, now I'm on the search for a new OB/GYN. Does anyone have experiences (good or bad) with any doctors at Franklin Square? Thank you in advance.
Happy Friday!
Beth
Re: Franklin Square doctor recs
Very interesting that Dr. Kolkas delivered your DS, because when I was going to the practice she did not deliver, but she did see patients. Dr. Hessa delivered my DD, but I switched practices because I wasn't happy with my care during my 1st pregnancy. They definitely missed several signs of pre-e for several weeks. I ended up delivering early.
I now see Dr. Couelis and Kaplan in Abingdon, MD. They deliver at FSH. I had a very positive experience with all the on-call OB's, nurses and NICU staff at FSH, so I will definitely be delivery again in April.
I got to Women's Care OB/GYN at Bel Air and normally see Dr. London. They also have an office in Dundalk. I've seen some of the other doctors in the office during my pregnancy and everyone has been awesome. They deliver at FSH.
If I choose Women's Care OB/GYN, can I switch and go around to the different offices or am I tied to say the Dundalk or White Marsh?
No you cant. The Dundalk has 3 Drs and a midwife and seemed wasy to get an appt but you have to wait forever. The other is just Dr London but I never waited more then 10 minutes and it was really easy to get an appointment.
Good to know. I believe Dr. Thompson and Lenowitz are the other on-call OB's that my practices is tied with.
