Sorry everyone, I'm working on my phone while in DC and don't have access to the document I use to keep track of everyone. And I've been off line all week, so I haven't been able to catch up with any events. Next week will be like this too.
Please post your update below, and if you want to be added let me know. I'll add you to the list when I'm back home the first week of November.
QOTW: purely selfish--I have two days to be a tourist in Washington DC. If you've been here, what should I do? If you haven't, what would you want to do?

Re: *~*~3TC IVF Check In (sort of)~*~*
Hugs and luck to all that need them.
Update on me! I had my first follie check today after five nights of stims. I have 14 follies ranging from 7-10 mm and my E2 level is 806.8. They are very happy with this, as am I. Next u/s & b/w is on Friday and if all keeps going like it has they think I will trigger on Saturday night for a Monday ER! I am excited and so happy to get this news. I am a bit uncomfortable and now know why, lol.
QOTW: I haven't been to DC since 8th grade but I loved the air and space museum. Have fun!

Not too much to update - today is day 5 of stims and I go in tomorrow for b/w and my first u/s (which is two days earlier than last time - I think they are keeping a closer watch on me). I can definitely already feel my ovaries so it will be interesting to see whats going on already.
QOTW: I hope you are having fun in DC! I'm trying to remember what I did the last time I went there for work - I know I went to a few of the smithsonian museums and walked around the mall. The zoo might also be fun to go too.

QOTW: I've never been but would want to visit all the touristy spots.
I was supposed to be starting stims on Thursday, but developed an egg while on BCP. ?Had to trigger last night to hopefully ovulate it. ?Go back on Monday for more monitoring and will be restarting BCP then.
I haven't been to DC since I was young, but I loved the Smithsonian.
Have fun and good luck to everyone!?

Update: Currently in the 2WW, my beta will be on 10/25. But the good news is we have 5 babies on ice with 4 out of the 5 with AA ratings!
QOTW: This is a great time to go and see all of the monuments and the natural science meseum (I hope that is the one I am thinking of) is pretty cool. Also, you should go check out Georgetown (great shopping/food) or go to George Washington's Mt. Vernon house out in Alexandria.

SAIF Always Welcome
I just got the call about DH's strict morphology test and it looks like we will have to do ICSI. I called him and told him and tried to be breezy about it, but i think he's a little upset that this may have been the issue all along.
Right now, just waiting for AF to start BCP.
QOTW: I haven't been in ages, but Georgetown is a great place to find a happy hour!
Tomorrow is our first beta! DH asked last night if we wanted to do HPT but he said nevermind it's like cheating.
Good luck to everyone that is starting and in the 2WW.
DC is full of things to do. Check out the Spy Museum. And Georgetown has great food and shopping!
Tonight was the 11th night of stims. Only have 2 (14) and a 1 (8) growing. Go back Thurs for another check... Same story as last cycle. No idea if they will retrieve me or not.
DC: I lived there for a summer in 1997. I remember going to lots of bars! LOL

QOTW: purely selfish--I have two days to be a tourist in Washington DC. If you've been here, what should I do? If you haven't, what would you want to do?
I haven't been to DC since grade 5. If I were to go to DC, I would want to visit some of the new memorials and check out the modern/contemporary art collection at the Smithsonian.
IVF #1 ET 1 d3 embryo 10/30/11 BFP

DS born 07/29/12
FET #1 ET 1 d5 embryo 02/10/15 BFN
FET #2 1 d6 embryo didn't survive thaw, transferred last d6. CP
Update: I may not get to do an IUI this month because I may have missed my surge. $#@#!!! I have never had that happen before!! I started testing on CD 12 since my cycles have been really long and I got a + that day, my RE was already closed, so I was going to call the next morning. Then the next morning I got a negative, I called and since they weren't sure what was going on they had me come in for a u/s. They only saw follies around 9 or 10, so inconclusive.
So, I either ovulated early (although there was no fluid remaining from the follicle, but they said that doesn't always happen) OR I haven't ovulated yet. I am continuing to test at home with OPK's, but I am really not happy. I have never gotten a false + before and I have never missed O, so I really don't know what is going on. (I used a digi, so I can't even see how that could be wrong).
QOTW: I love DC. I would go see all of the monuments. The Air and Space Museum is great and I also really liked the Holocaust Museum, but it is hard to go through - emotionally.
You should go to Georetown and hit Georgetown Cupcakes - YUM!! There is also a great Italian restuarant there called Filomena Ristorante - so good. They get totally decked out for Halloween too.
Old Town Alexandria is a really nice area too. Lots of great little shops and tons of really good restaurants.
Have a great trip!!
No real updates. I went to my clinic's general meeting last week and learned a lot of great info specific to the clinic (including their rock star success rates!) and have all of the consent forms to sign. Still waiting to see if we get bumped up, or start after the New Year.
T- Try to get to the Holocaust Museum. I've been twice and have never experienced anything else so moving. Hopefully you can catch some nice weather and can spend some time walking the mall. Or you could pretend like you're Jenny from Forrest Gump and run through the pool at the base of the Washington Monument.

Update: Today was my last day of bcp (thank G-d!). I go in for a baseline on Monday and hopefully, I will be able to start stims that evening.
QOTW: I actually just went to DC for a weekend last month to visit friends. I really enjoyed the Smithsonian Museum of American History (they have Julia Child's kitchen there!) and the Air & Space Museum. The Air & Space Museum annex is supposed to be really cool, but we didn't have time to go there since it is in a separate location. I had been to the Holocaust Museum on a previous trip to DC and I also recommend that - it is a very well done museum.

IVF #4 - July/August 2014
I know they use it in Israel as well, but I am pretty sure it is actually the equivalent of Lupron, not Gonal-F. I believe it is a GnRH agonist and used for suppression just like Lupron. I have never used it before because I have only done the antagonist protocol, but they do use it here, and I think in many European countries. That is exciting you moved up the IVF cycle - good luck!!

I'm 7dp3dt and foolishly tested. It was negative. Also, I don't feel pregnant (With my first two pregnancies I had the exact same symptoms, although, things might have changed in the last couple of years.)
I'm surprisingly calm about the fact that this cycle might be a bust. We knew going into it that we only had a 50/50 chance since it was a frozen cycle. Not to mention, as a consolation prize we will be booking ourselves a trip to Mexico!
It's just good to know that everything will be OK regardless of the outcome
Good luck to everyone else! FX.

Update: on estrace, which is giving me one hell of a headache and I keep forgetting to take the morning pill. So I'm doubling up at night, maybe that is why my headache is so bad? Anyway, ET is 11/10 unless something happens between now and then.
QOTW: thanks for the recs! I'm definitely going to the spy museum and the mall (if it stops raining!). sounds like I should check out georgetown too, so I will add that to my list.
