Music in your kids' rooms

What do you use to play music in your kids' rooms? I need something for DS's room. I have an iPod Nano from like 5 years ago that I am ashamed to say I NEVER use!!!! I am not a huge music person--weird, I know--and I never quite got in the groove of using iTunes. I want to start using it more even though it's semi-antique.

For DD, I have a CD clock radio. Am debating buying a

--CD clock radio for DS's room,  

--kid CD player or MP3 player

--some kind of iPod dock, joining the modern age and actually using my Nano 

--different MP3 player. 

What do you use? What should I get?

    I had a Bose ipod dock before DD was born. I put it in her room when she was a couple of months old and have played the Jewel Lullaby album on it every night since. DS listens to the marpac white noise machine all night Smile

    We got an iPod dock for an iPod Nano that I also did not really use (won it at work). I already had a Nano...and now I don't use that one much any more since DS arrived (I find I don't have much time to sit and listen to music with headphones; need to keep my ears open for the little guy haha!)  We are going to use THAT one for DS #2 when he arrives with another iPod dock, for his room.

    For DD's room we have a radio/Cd player that also has a dock for an iPod. MIL got it at target.

    We use my itouch that I don't use anymore in an ihome.

    We have a clock radio on the shelf in ds's room.  We usually listen to dh's station,  he's a general manager of a radio station, so ds gets pretty excited to hear his dad on air.

    We use a CD boombox type thing that we got really cheap at Target. We play the Kenny Loggins Return to Pooh Corner CD every night. Love it!

    We have one of these too.  I am really behind in technology and sadly the IPod stuff is way over my head.  We have a couple of cd's we rotate through at night for when DS goes to bed.

    I have a shelf right outside DS's room where I have an old school cd player that plays bedtime music for him.  During the day, I listen to Pandora through my iphone that sits in a docking station that gets as loud as a normal stereo would.  DS loves it and sometimes asks me to dance.  

    ps. Pandora is amazing, you may find you love music a lot more... it goes off of your preferences.
