When MH spilled hot soup on his crotch?
He is feeling ill so I made him homemade chicken noodle soup tonight. He was on the couch eating it and somehow spilled about half of it right in his lap. He jumped up and ran to the bathroom. I thought it had just spilled on his stomach, but apparently his nuts got the brunt of it.
When I finished cleaning the couch off, I turned around and saw him holding a wash cloth with ice to his nads. I lost it and now he's mad at me. I think he's warming up though because he just called me over to inspect the damage. The good news is I don't think it will blister.
Just writing this...I answered my own question. Yes, it is bad. Very very bad.
Re: Is it bad I laughed...
Awww... Yeah, I would have laughed!

Dream of a better world...where chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned.
Sometimes it's hard not to laugh at real life slap stick. I usually have the oppostie problem and burst into tears in empathy of the injured party. It causes a similar problem in that I'm so busy crying and feeling awful that injured person feels obligated to comfrot me, instead of the reverse!
"Funny" story -- DH and I were rough housing on the sofa like we usually do. At one point I tried to get up, and he lightly grabbed my arm to prevent me and keep me in a snuggle grasp (it's a game we have), but I lost my balance and sprawled a hand out backward to catch myself from falling. All my weight went on one hand which landed directly on his crotch. I might as well have punched him in the nads. He keeled over whimpering for a long time. I burst into tears and felt horrible for an hour for hurting him, even though it was a clear accident that he was equally responsible for. He spent the rest of the night having to reassure me (the hysterical, hormonal pregnant lady) that I wasn't a horrible, abusive wife.

That is funny! I've done similar things to MH...You are much nicer than me because I always laugh...even if I am trying to make sure he's ok. He doesn't see the humor in these situations...
